Watching the Royals on TV; yes, I’m that guy
Haven’t you ever watched a really bad movie, but you want to know how it ends, so you can’t turn it off? Surely I’m not the only one watching the Kansas City Royals a handful of times a week.
The good news is the Royals will save money on supplies next year; they will be able to re-use third base and home plate since they haven’t gotten much use this year.
After all, they have scored 121 fewer runs than their opponents this year. That differential is 55 more than anyone else in the American League, second in MLB to only the San Diego Padres.
And now I read the Royals are 10-12 in games when Zach Greinke pitches. That number says more about the impressiveness of Greinke than almost any other.
