A plea for help
Dr.Deegan needs to step down, retire. What If a teacher would have acted out as he did with a parent?
Why does he think he is above anything and everybody? He is not leading by example. I do not want my grandchildren ever to think what he does is the right thing to do. Could he have not said, “Sorry, the information you have is incorrect.” Shame on you, Dr. Deegan, as much as you think you are above all, you are not.
Do yourself a favor, retire before any good you ever did for the schools is forgotten and replaced by the way you are treating everyone around you now.

Clean Air for All!
I commend Sen. Ben Nelson for seeing the importance of the “bigger picture” on health care reform. So I was very disappointed when he co-sponsored a resolution by Senator Murkowski recently.
Instead of a resolution of disapproval of the EPA for doing what they are suppose to do, protect all of us and our clean air.
Nelson and Murkowski should start working on carbon emission curbs through the Senate. They should be positive and proactive, not negative and willing to erase decades of progress through the Clean Air Act.
In fact, it would be great for Nelson to propose a carbon tax. It would be the simplest way to begin to curb emissions and it would be great for our agricultural economy here in Nebraska!
